1. Front axle

The front axle of the axle parts is mostly made of No. 35 and No. 40 carbon structural steel or Cr steel. After forging and normalizing, it is quenched and tempered. 2. Steering knuckle

The steering knuckles on the front axle of automobiles are mostly made of 40Cr, such as Jiefang Heavy Truck, Dongfeng Special Automobile, Jinan Heavy Automobile, etc. The steering knuckles made of spare structural steel are all quenched and tempered. The steering knuckle is divided into three parts: rod, flange and fork. The processing of the rod is mainly based on the positioning of the center hole, turning and grinding, and the key to the processing is grinding. Flange processing is mainly the processing of the brake mounting hole, to ensure its position, while taking into account the processing efficiency. And, use one of the holes as a processing fork positioning. Fork processing is the difficulty of steering knuckle processing. Two pins are used for one-sided positioning. The processing is mainly to ensure the coaxiality of the front axle main pin hole and the verticality between the main pin hole and the inner end surface. It is the investment focus of the entire processing technology and The key to equipment selection.

3. Steering knuckle king pin.

The kingpin of the steering knuckle of the axle parts bears a strong impact load. Therefore, it requires high surface hardness and wear resistance, and the core part is required to have a certain degree of toughness. The main pin of the steering knuckle is made of 40# steel, and it is also made of cast steel. After carburizing, it can meet the above requirements.

4. Front wheel hub

The front wheel hub of the axle parts is mostly made of malleable cast iron KT35-10, which has high strength, plasticity and toughness, which can meet the working conditions of the front wheel hub of the automobile. However, it has poor casting performance, long annealing cycle and low production efficiency. Therefore, some models use ductile iron, and some wheels are cast with carbon steel.

5. Steering knuckle king pin bushing
